Northampton, Massachusetts-based singer, multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, photographer, journalist & storyteller SCOTT LAWSON POMEROY is best known in the Northeastern U.S. for his work as frontman for 80s pop revivalists ORANGE CRUSH as well as singer, bassist and co-songwriter for blues rockers MAMBO SONS.

On his first multi-media solo release "Return To Big Rock Candy Mountain" - Scott travels back in time aboard a train that takes him from Springfield Massachusetts, to the Saskatchewan childhood home of Pulitzer-Prize-winning author Wallace Stegner.

VIDEO CORNER!

"On March 11th, 2009 - Between Minneapolis, Minnesota and  Milwaukee, Wisconsin - I recorded multiple songs in a private coach aboard the Amtrak Empire Builder. All other songs were recorded March 5th, in the room where Pulitzer Prize winning author Wallace Stegner lived as a boy from 1917-1921.  On March 7th 2009 - I performed at the 22nd annual Stegner House Benefit and Memorial Dinner in Eastend Saskatchewan. It was also his 100th birth anniversary. Traveling to one of the most remote areas in North America, and living alone in the house for a week - I had dreams, I had nightmares, I made many friends, and I recorded a bunch of songs. Enjoy the music videos, MP3s, photos, and read the story about the recording and the journey."
